Steve Luyt

Steve Luyt is an experienced technology and strategy leader with a robust background in digital technology, enterprise architecture, and governance. Currently serving as the Head of Group Digital Technology Strategy, Architecture & Governance at Aspen Pharma Group since October 2014, Luyt focuses on aligning business strategies with IT investments through comprehensive technology strategies and roadmaps. Luyt has previously held significant roles at Barclays and Absa Financial Services, leading Bancassurance strategy and driving top-line growth in retail and commercial banking. Earlier experience includes key positions at SABMiller, Dimension Data, Rubico, and Maxtec, contributing to IT strategy, infrastructure management, and application development. Luyt holds a BSc in Computer Science, Computational & Applied Mathematics from the University of the Witwatersrand.
