Alexandra Rodriguez

Director of Electrical and PV Engineering at Aspen Power

Alexandra Rodriguez has a diverse work experience in the electrical engineering field. Alexandra started their career at Universidad Simón Bolívar as an Academic Assistant from September 2012 to March 2015. Alexandra then moved on to E'KABEL where they completed an internship from April 2015 to August 2015, focusing on diagnostic testing and equipment management. Alexandra later joined Aspen Power in October 2016 as an Electrical Engineer Intern, where they gained experience in designing schematics, conducting site visits, and performing surveys. Alexandra continued to excel at Aspen Power, progressing to the role of Solar Design Engineer in October 2017. In this position, they developed detailed electrical and structural design drawings for solar PV systems, performed site evaluations, and designed one line diagrams and site plans. Alexandra's most recent role at Aspen Power is Director of Electrical and PV Engineering, starting in September 2022.

Alexandra Rodriguez obtained their Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering from Universidad Simón Bolívar, where they studied from 2008 to 2015. In addition to their degree, they have obtained several certifications. In June 2020, they completed the Revit Architecture (Basic+Intermediate) certification from Autodesk. In August 2020, they obtained two certifications in solar energy: PV1x: Solar Energy: Photovoltaic (PV) Energy Conversion and PV2x: Solar Energy: Photovoltaic (PV) Technologies, both from Technische Universiteit Delft. In November 2020, they completed the Revit Architecture Advance certification from Autodesk. Prior to these certifications, Alexandra acquired the Level 1 AutoCAD certification in November 2015 from Autodesk. Alexandra also completed the Introduction to Solar Cells course on Coursera in January 2018 and the Organic Solar Cells - Theory and Practice course on Coursera Course Certificates in July 2016.
