Leah Carden

Leah Carden is the CFO at Aspen RxHealth. Leah has previously served as the CFO and Human Resources for Avatar Solutions and VUCA Health.

Leah has been instrumental in growing Avatar Solutions and positioning the company for sale. Leah was responsible for developing the accounting functions, financial packages, and financial reporting. Leah also successfully negotiated the debt refinancing for the company.

Under Leah’s leadership, the company acquired a strategic company to build out its portfolio. Leah also selected and implemented a new accounting and CRM platform that provided management with real-time, actionable information. In addition, they developed onboarding tools and programs for new hires, as well as a management training program.

At VUCA Health, Leah was responsible for providing financial reports to the board of directors and senior leadership team, supporting the decision-making process of the various business segments through profitability analysis, forecasting and management reporting, and developing and coordinating the annual expense and cash budget. Leah was also responsible for all day-to-day operations related to finance, human resources, and mail production.

Leah has a proven track record of successful management and growth. Leah successfully grew Avatar Solutions from a small company to a large corporation while tripling the size of the staff in less than four years. At VUCA Health, they successfully launched a call center and negotiated vendor contracts. Leah also developed a predictive staffing model to manage growth and SLA’s and metrics to measure productivity.

Leah Carden has a Bachelor's degree in Finance and General from the University of Florida.
