Sanford Rich

Sanford Rich is a seasoned executive and educator currently serving as an Adjunct Professor at CUNY Queens College Business within the CUNY Practitioners In Residence Corps program. Since January 2016, Sanford has held the position of Executive Director at the New York City Board of Education Retirement System, overseeing a system of 55,000 members. Additionally, Sanford serves as an Independent Director and Audit Committee Chair at Unusual Machines and is a Member of the Investor Advisory Group for the Public Company Accounting Oversight Board (PCAOB). Other notable roles include Director and Audit Committee Chairman at Aspen University, Early Investor and Advisor at Rootstock Software, and Chief of Negotiation and Restructuring at the Pension Benefit Guaranty Corporation. Sanford’s educational background includes an MBA in Finance from NYU Stern School of Business and a Bachelor of Science in Finance from Case Western Reserve University.
