Catherine Fry

Catherine Fry has a diverse work experience in the field of education and STEM. Catherine started their career at the National Science Foundation as an AAAS Science & Technology Policy Fellow from September 2007 to September 2009. Catherine then worked at the Wisconsin Center for Education Research as a Project Manager for Mobilizing STEM Education for a Sustainable Future from September 2009 to December 2011. Catherine then joined the Association of American Colleges and Universities as a Project Manager for Project Kaleidoscope (PKAL)/Office of Undergraduate STEM Education from January 2011 to July 2014. Their most recent role was at the American Society for Pharmacology and Experimental Therapeutics (ASPET) where they served as the Education Manager from July 2014 to June 2016, and then as the Director of Education from July 2016 onwards.

Catherine Fry has a PhD in Behavior, Ecology, Evolution & Systematics from the University of Maryland. Catherine also holds a BA in Biology & Environmental Science from Knox College. In addition to their academic degrees, they have obtained a Diversity, Equity and Inclusion in the Workplace Certificate from USF Corporate Training and Professional Education in May 2021. Furthermore, Catherine has a certification in Leadership Management from ASAE: The Center for Association Leadership, although specific details of when they obtained this certification are not provided.
