Maria Pasho serves as the Director of Publications at the American Society for Pharmacology and Experimental Therapeutics (ASPET) since April 2021. Prior to this role, Maria held the position of Manager of Journal Operations and Support at the American Society for Biochemistry and Molecular Biology (ASBMB) from February 2017 to April 2021. Maria's extensive experience in the publishing field includes serving as Journal Editorial Supervisor/Copy Editor at the American Physiological Society from September 1999 to February 2017, and Assistant Director of Communications/Production Editor at the American Academy of Child & Adolescent Psychiatry in 1998-1999. Earlier in Maria's career, contributions were made as Marketplace Coordinator for the American Bus Association from 1995 to 1998. Maria Pasho earned a B.S. in Communications, English, and Political Science from the State University of New York at Fredonia between 1989 and 1991.
