Samantha Syiem-Clark is an experienced educator and humanitarian with a focus on International Development and support for disadvantaged communities. Since October 2005, Samantha has served as an Associate Tutor at the University of Sussex, teaching various undergraduate and master's level courses. In August 2013, Samantha co-founded Providence Foundation, a charity dedicated to improving educational opportunities and providing assistance to underprivileged children and communities in North East India. Additionally, Samantha has worked with asphaleia since 2006, engaging as a part-time outreach worker and project worker for unaccompanied young asylum minors. Academically, Samantha holds a Doctor of Philosophy in Development Studies from the University of Sussex and has earned both a Master of Philosophy and a Master's degree in Sociology from North-Eastern Hill University.
