Chaitanya Bhat

Chaitanya (Chait) Bhat, Ph.D., LCACP, serves as a Sustainability Engineer at the Asphalt Institute since November 2021. Prior to this role, Chait held the position of Research Civil Engineer at Engineering & Software Consultants, Inc. from March 2021 to November 2021 and worked as a Research Assistant at Michigan Technological University between July 2016 and October 2020. Chait also gained experience as an intern at the National Asphalt Pavement Association during the summer of 2018. Chait's educational background includes a Doctorate in Civil Engineering and a Master's Degree in Structural Engineering from Michigan Technological University, as well as a Bachelor's Degree in Civil Engineering from Visvesvaraya Technological University. Additionally, Chait completed high school education at Karnataka Science College Dharwad and Shanti Sadan School Dharwad.
