Julia Kot

Julia Kot is a Senior Food Technologist at Aspire Bakeries, with a specialization in chemically leavened baked sweet-goods and a strong technical understanding of ingredient functionality. Since May 2019, Julia has successfully led product launches from development to commercialization, collaborated across multiple departments to ensure seamless scale-up to commercial production, and mentored junior scientists. Previous experience includes roles at Treasure8, where Julia worked as a Culinary Research and Product Development Technologist and Product Development Intern, contributing to product validation and sensory evaluations. Julia began a career in food production as a Production Technician at Cal Poly Jarring and gained experience as a Production Intern at CalPoly Chocolates. Education includes a Bachelor of Applied Science in Food Science and Technology from California Polytechnic State University-San Luis Obispo and participation in an educational program at the Università di Torino.
