We are Aspire Living & Learning, a non-profit human services agency making a meaningful difference in the lives of adults and children with autism and other disabilities.

Aspire Living & Learning is currently seeking a Speech-Language Pathologist who develops and/or provides individualized education programs to meet the needs of children with articulation, voice, and fluency and/or language or pragmatic language impairments.

The Speech Pathologist will provide in-service education and/or serve as a consultant to teachers and other school employees on topics related to speech and language skills (e.g., Augmentative or Alternative Communication, curriculum modification) to ensure generalization of language skills across school environments.

  • Bachelor's degree in Psychology, Special Education, or a related field strongly preferred.
  • 2-3 years providing evaluation and treatment to children with disabilities.
  • Experience working collaboratively with BCBAs, OTs, PTs, mental health, and SPED teachers.
  • Experience with AAC and AT.
  • Experience with CT-SEDS, IEP development and execution, and Medicaid billing.
  • Excellent interpersonal, organizational and communication skills and a collaborative approach.

Minimum Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s Degree required. - Masters in Communication Disorders, or Speech language pathology from an ASHA accredited university.
  • CT 061 education license.
  • CT department of health license (or pending). 
  • Holds an ASHA Certificate of Clinical Competence, or pending.
