Thomas Kaster NHA, MBA has a diverse work experience that spans various roles and industries. Thomas currently serves as the Interim VP of Post Acute Care at Aspirus Health since 2022. Prior to this, they were the Administrator LTC at Aspirus Pleasant View in 2021. From 2019 to 2021, Thomas worked as a Senior Clinical Program Consultant - Value Creation at UnitedHealth Group. Thomas also held the position of Senior Director of Finance at Flambeau Hospital Inc. from 2018 to 2019, and Director of Quality and Financial Oversight at Flambeau Hospital from 2017 to 2019. Thomas's experience also includes working as a Quality Coordinator at Wisconsin Hospital Association (WHA) from 2012 to 2016. Thomas started their career at Humana Inc., where they held various roles such as Sales and Quality Consultant and Learning Facilitator from 2006 to 2012, and Operations Supervisor from 2002 to 2005. Prior to that, Thomas worked as a National Account Operations Supervisor at Lands' End Corporate Sales from 1998 to 2002, and as an Operations Supervisor at Lands' End from 1996 to 2001.

Thomas Kaster NHA, MBA has a Bachelor of Science and a Masters degree in Business Administration with a focus on Human Resources and Quality respectively from the University of Wisconsin-Platteville. Thomas also holds an MBA in Quality from Edgewood College. In addition to their degrees, Thomas has obtained certifications such as Certified Professional In Healthcare Quality (CPHQ) from CPHQ in 2013 and completed the Improvement Leader Fellowship in 2012 from the American Hospital Association.
