Hallstein Lohne

Hallstein Lohne has extensive experience in IT operations and management, currently serving as the Head of IT Operations at Asplan Viak AS since September 2006, overseeing daily IT services for a workforce of 1,300 across 31 locations in Norway and Sweden. Lohne has also held the role of Acting IT Manager, leading a team of eight IT professionals during a critical project. Prior positions include Senior Engineer at the University of Bergen, where responsibilities encompassed server management and client support, as well as a Developer role at Palantir AS, focusing on web development. Lohne began an academic career in IT management during a Master of Science program at Agder University College while managing IT for the Master’s department. Lohne holds a Master of Science in Information and Communication Technology from the University of Agder and a Bachelor's degree in Computing from Western Norway University of Applied Sciences.
