Peter MacAluso

Peter Macaluso has extensive experience in the legal field, holding various leadership roles throughout their career. Peter is currently the SVP, General Counsel & Secretary at Asplundh Tree Expert, LLC, a position they have held since 2021. Prior to this, they served as the SVP, General Counsel & Secretary at TMS International Corporation from 2019 to 2021, where they led the global legal team and supported multiple business groups. From 2013 to 2019, Peter was the Senior Vice President, General Counsel & Secretary at Houghton International, overseeing legal and environmental matters on a global scale. Peter also worked as the Vice President, Corporate Counsel & Secretary at Amicus Therapeutics from 2008 to 2013, and as a Senior Corporate Counsel at Rockwood Specialties from 2004 to 2008. Peter began their career as an Associate at Day Pitney LLP from 2000 to 2004. Throughout their career, Peter has been responsible for various aspects of legal management, including business development, compliance, corporate governance, litigation, and international affairs.

Peter Macaluso attended the University of Michigan from 1993 to 1997, where they received a Bachelor of Arts (B.A.) degree in Political Science and Government. Peter then went on to study at the Boston University School of Law from 1997 to 2000, obtaining a Doctor of Law (J.D.) degree.
