Ashley Grau

Ashley Grau, PHR, SHRM-CP, has a comprehensive work experience in human resources. Ashley is currently the Vice President of Human Resources at ASRC Federal starting from September 2021. Prior to this role, they served as the Human Resources Director from May 2015 to September 2021 at the same company. Before that, they worked as a Sr. HR Business Partner from October 2013 to May 2015, providing comprehensive HR guidance to management and resolving complex employee relations issues. From April 2009 to October 2013, they were a Human Resource Generalist at ASRC Federal, serving as the primary point of contact for employees and handling on-boarding processes. Ashley also worked at Stinger Ghaffarian Technologies as a Human Resource Assistant from May 2008 to April 2009, supporting the HR manager with employee appraisals and maintaining employee files. Ashley started their career as an Intern at NASA Goddard Space Flight Center from May 2006 to January 2008, where they led a group of interns and mentored first-year interns, coordinating projects and workshops.

Ashley Grau, PHR, SHRM-CP, holds a Bachelor's Degree in Business Management with a minor in Human Resources from York College of Pennsylvania, which they obtained from 2005 to 2008. Ashley also pursued a Master's Degree in Human Resource Management from the University of Maryland Global Campus, completing it from 2010 to 2013. Ashley has further obtained several certifications including the LEAD NOW! Certification from Stewart Leadership in 2022, the SHRM-Certified Professional (SHRM-CP) from SHRM in 2015, and the Professional in Human Resources (PHR) certification from HRCI.
