Joaquin Bazzano García is currently serving as a Profesor instructor for the Salud Pública course in the Doctor in Medicine program at Universidad Católica del Uruguay since March 2024. Concurrently, Joaquin holds multiple key roles at ASSE, including Assistant to Assistance Manager, leading the Academic Unit, and coordinating the UDA program, which focuses on training and strengthening human resources in health. Additional achievements include being the Associate Director at Hospital Pasteur and an international consultant for the Pan American Health Organization, where Joaquin coordinated initiatives related to antimicrobial resistance and contributed to health system evaluations. With a solid educational background including a Master of Science in Public Health from the London School of Hygiene and Tropical Medicine and extensive experience in health program management, Joaquin Bazzano García has a significant impact on health services management and public health initiatives in Uruguay.
