Fred Bidwell

Fred Bidwell is a prominent figure in the arts community, serving as the Executive Director and CEO of FRONT Exhibition Company since August 2016, where Fred oversees the planning of the FRONT INTERNATIONAL: Cleveland Triennial for Contemporary Art. In addition to this role, Fred serves on multiple boards, including The Cleveland Foundation and the Cleveland Museum of Art, where Fred has been a Trustee and held several committee positions. Fred also chairs the Board of Directors for Assembly for Action and the Board of Assembly for the Arts, and presides over the Fred and Laura Ruth Bidwell Foundation, which supports artistic initiatives. Fred's previous leadership includes co-chairing the Board of Trustees for the Gordon Square Arts District. Fred's educational background includes studies in Art History at Boston University and Oberlin College, complemented by a high school diploma in the same field from Choate Rosemary Hall.
