Bryan Hendry

Bryan Hendry is an accomplished communications specialist and senior policy analyst with extensive experience in Indigenous affairs and media. Currently serving as a Communications Specialist at Mishkiiki Lodge since May 2023, Bryan has been a Senior Policy Analyst at the Assembly of First Nations since September 2002, where notable efforts include co-chairing the national Standing Committee on Mining Essentials and collaborating with various Chiefs and federal departments on economic development initiatives. Additional roles include serving as Senior Advisor/Chief of Staff at the Chiefs of Ontario from 2015 to 2018, Acting Director for First Nations, and multiple positions in media, including as Assignment Editor at NewRo television station and Assistant Editor at the Eganville Leader. Bryan holds a Bachelor of Journalism with Honours from Carleton University, completed in 1987.
