Joel Mermoud

Joel Mermoud is a seasoned design professional with extensive experience in fire protection and product development. Currently serving as Lead Designer - Fire Protection at Assembly OSM since September 2020, Joel has successfully executed comprehensive fire protection systems for modular high-rise buildings, developed innovative fireproofing methods, and implemented quality control processes. Previous roles include Technical Designer at UAP | Urban Art Projects, where Joel created augmented reality models for public art installations, and Project Engineer at Duggal Visual Solutions, optimizing design processes and reducing material waste. Joel's career began as a Product Development Engineer at Specified Technologies Inc, where significant contributions included launching fire-rated products and enhancing safety standards. A graduate of Rutgers University with a Bachelor of Science in Mechanical Engineering, Joel combines technical expertise with innovative design solutions.
