Jake Sparlin

Jake Sparlin has ten years of experience in various roles related to lighting and production. Jake worked as a Lighting Specialist at Assembly Production LLC in 2019 before joining DNA of a Leader as an Executive Director the same year. In 2021, they became a Lighting Designer at AV Chicago, Inc., and the following year, they took the same role at BlackOak Technical Productions and Frost Chicago. Jake also worked at Chicago Tabernacle from 2009 onwards, holding roles such as Associate Pastor, Youth Pastor, and Children's Ministry Director. At Chicago Tabernacle, they served as a Production Manager and Lighting Director for 10 years, where they designed, operated, and maintained several intelligent, moving, LED, and projection fixtures and trained volunteer lighting operators. Prior to this, Jake worked as a Production Assistant at WGN-TV for seven months.

Jake Sparlin holds a Bachelor of Arts degree in English and Communications from Concordia University Chicago, which they acquired from 2005 to 2008. Jake later attended Global University where they pursued the School of the Bible Certification program between 2013 and 2016. Jake Sparlin would later go to the University of Chicago from 2018 to 2019, where they obtained their Master of Arts in Liberal Arts and Sciences/Liberal Studies.
