Marco Ramponi, PhD

Marco Ramponi, PhD has a diverse work experience in the field of mathematics and algebra. Marco is currently working as a Developer Educator at AssemblyAI since October 2022. Previously, they served as an Assistant Professor at Technische Universität Berlin from June 2020 to August 2022, where they were a member of the algorithmic algebra group and led a research group for six months. Marco also worked as a Deputy Professor at the University of Augsburg from October 2021 to April 2022, where they were responsible for lecturing Algebraic Geometry 1 for MSc. Mathematics.

In addition, Marco has held positions as a Postdoctoral Researcher at both Freie Universität Berlin and the University of Augsburg. At Freie Universität Berlin, they conducted research activities in affiliation with the team of Algebraic Geometry at Humboldt University of Berlin. Marco worked from October 2019 to May 2020. Marco started their academic journey as a PhD Graduate Student at Université de Poitiers, where they worked in the group of Algebra and Geometry under the supervision of Prof. Dr. Alessandra Sarti from October 2014 to September 2017.

Furthermore, Marco has teaching experience as a Teaching Assistant at Università degli Studi di Milano. Marco mentored a group of approximately 180 students enrolled in the B.Sc program in Mathematics, specifically for the course of Linear Algebra from September 2012 to February 2013.

Marco Ramponi, PhD has a strong educational background in mathematics. Marco earned a Doctor of Philosophy (PhD) degree from Université de Poitiers. Prior to that, they obtained a Master of Science (MS) degree from Università degli Studi di Milano and also completed an exchange program in mathematics at the University of Amsterdam. Marco began their undergraduate education at Università degli Studi di Milano, where they earned a Bachelor of Science (BS) degree in mathematics.
