Anton Obbens

Anton Obbens has a diverse work experience spanning multiple industries and roles. Anton is currently working as a Director of Sales (Europe) at Assent Compliance Inc, where they lead sales teams across EMEA (excluding the DACH region). Prior to this, Anton was the Head of Sales at Maince, a data management and AI software start-up.

Anton also has extensive experience at Iron Mountain, where they held various positions including Sales Director Global Digital Solutions UK, Ireland, Nordics & Benelux, Director of Information Governance & Digital Solutions Benelux & Spain, Global Account Director, and Business Development Manager Benelux. In these roles, they were responsible for managing strategic relationships, commercial development, and sales in multiple countries and industries.

Anton has also taken a sabbatical during which they investigated the possibility of acquiring a hotel in the French Alps and later started their own recruitment/interim company. Prior to that, they founded and served as the Managing Director of Basics Hospitality Recruitment, a recruitment agency for hospitality and sales roles worldwide.

Before entering the recruitment industry, they worked as a Sr. Intercedent at Basics Hospitality Employment Agency and as a Senior Partner at Protocolbureau while pursuing their studies.

Throughout their career, Anton has demonstrated strong leadership skills and a track record of driving sales and business growth.

Anton Obbens began their education at d'Oultremontcollege from 1996 to 1999, where they pursued their preliminary studies. Anton then attended Hotelschool The Hague from 1999 to 2003, where they obtained a Bachelor of Business Administration degree with a focus on Business Administration and Management. Later, from 2016 to 2017, Anton studied at the Rotterdam School of Management, Erasmus University, completing a Master's level program in Strategic Management.
