Senem Benhur Isik

Senem Benhur ISIK has a diverse work experience spanning across different companies in the technology and banking sectors.

Starting from 2003, Senem worked at Akbank as a Credit Cards System Specialist, focusing on credit card management systems, POS, authorization, campaign management, and loyalty programs. They led test specialists and were involved in the inception phase of the Campaign Management System.

In 2007, Senem joined Sony as a Senior Business Analyst, specializing in internal product information management systems. They were responsible for collecting requirements, leading requirement gathering workshops, and supporting the development team during implementation.

Within Sony, Senem also served as a Lead Business Analyst, overseeing a team of analysts working on the Product Information Management Tool and Content Translation System. They planned analyst activities, split workloads, and ensured the sharing of product data domain knowledge among the team.

As a Business Analyst Team Leader, Senem was in charge of analyst activities related to web implementations such as marketing websites, product information management tools, customer information databases, and web services interfaces. They coached team members and aimed to increase overall outcome quality.

From 2012 to 2014, Senem acted as an Application Delivery Manager, responsible for the delivery of European marketing website implementations at Sony. They coordinated delivery plans, provided cost estimations to stakeholders, and ensured smooth implementations.

Senem then transitioned to the role of a Product Manager at Sony, leading the product roadmap and delivery plan for multiple teams involved in loyalty programs, product information management, digital asset management, and content management systems. They partnered with business stakeholders and architect teams to determine the best solutions for customer experience and enabled business and operational teams. Additionally, Senem established product data governance to maintain data integrity across systems.

In 2018, Senem joined Sobeys as a Technical Product Owner, managing the backlog and delivery of websites for various banners. They also initiated and led projects related to Product Information Management and Enterprise Digital Asset Management, from inception to go-live. Senem defined and managed product backlogs for multiple web platforms.

At Sobeys, Senem progressed to the role of a Product Manager, leading the product roadmap and delivery plan for multiple teams responsible for loyalty programs, product information management, digital asset management, and content management systems. They supported existing applications through maintenance and the introduction of new features. Senem collaborated with business stakeholders and architect teams to devise optimal solutions for customer experience and operational efficiency.

Senem Benhur ISIK earned a Bachelor's degree in Industrial Engineering from Gazi University, where they studied from 1998 to 2002. Senem Benhur later pursued a Master's degree in Management Information Systems at Boğaziçi University from 2004 to 2006. In 2011, they obtained the Certified Scrum Master certification from ACM.
