Yuen Zhao Yong

Yuen Zhao Yong's work experience begins in 2015 as a Student Volunteer at the Institute for Tropical Biology and Conservation. In 2016, they worked as a Research Assistant at the same institute for a short period. In 2017, Yuen worked as an Intern at LafargeHolcim and later as a Research Assistant at the University of Portsmouth. In 2018, they became a Volunteer at Power Shift Malaysia and also worked as a Research Assistant at Universiti Malaysia Sabah, where they led field surveys and managed relationships with various departments and communities. In 2019, Yuen continued their research work as a Graduate Research Assistant at Universiti Malaysia Sabah, conducting surveys and analyzing data on human-macaque interactions on campus. In 2020, they worked as a Mathematics Tutor and in 2021 as a Teaching Assistant at Kumon Malaysia. Lastly, in 2022, Yuen joined Assent as a Supplier Intelligence Analyst, supporting the team in obtaining and managing compliance documentation from suppliers.

Yuen Zhao Yong completed a Bachelor of Science degree in Conservation Biology from Universiti Malaysia Sabah between 2014 and 2017. They then pursued further education and obtained a Master of Science degree in Ecological Process (Research) from the same university between 2019 and 2022.
