Chris Nicol is an experienced electrical engineer with a comprehensive background in collaborative technology development. Currently employed at SMART Technologies since July 2010, Chris has contributed to the design of hardware for DViT interactive whiteboards and other educational devices. Previous roles include firmware engineering at SMART, electronics contracting at Science Alberta Foundation, teaching assistance at the University of Calgary, and electronics engineering at Grindcom, where circuit design and control systems development for forestry machinery were key responsibilities. Chris holds an M.Sc. in Electrical Engineering from the University of Calgary and a B.Tech. in Electronics Engineering from DeVry Institute of Technology.
