Colin Pierce

Colin Pierce has work experience in various roles and companies. Colin started their career in 2014 as a Chemical Engineering Intern at HELIOS LLC. From 2017 to 2021, they worked at Arc International North America, where they held multiple roles. These include Production Engineer, Continuous Improvement Engineer, and Health, Safety, Environmental Engineer. In these positions, they focused on improving machine performance, reducing waste, and ensuring a safe work environment. Since 2021, Colin has been working as a Data Engineer at AssetWorks Inc. Here, they are involved in developing a cloud analytics platform and designing and implementing ETL pipelines using Python and Spark. Colin also works on architecting and deploying data warehouses using Azure Sql Server and Analysis Services.

Colin Pierce pursued their education at Rowan University, where they obtained a Bachelor of Science (B.S.) degree in Chemical Engineering from 2012 to 2016. In addition to their degree, they also received the Six Sigma Green Belt Certification in March 2018 from the Institute of Industrial and Systems Engineers.
