Peter Silverman

Peter Silverman brings to ASSIA extensive experience as an engineer and patent agent defining architecture, developing standards, and implementing systems related to the design and management of broadband telecommunications networks. Among the standards leadership positions that he has held include Chairman of the Network Management Committee for the Multi-telco Joint Procurement Committee (JPC); Editing the Broadband Forum DSL Anywhere Technical Report; Editing the Dynamic Spectrum Management Technical Report issues 1 and 2, in ATIS T1E1.4; and Editing the Dynamic Spectrum Management Report in UK NICC. Before employment at ASSIA Mr. Silverman’s career includes consulting at Bell Laboratories as an employee of CAP Gemini; Senior Member of Technical Staff at Ameritech, Senior Architect at U.S. Robotics and 3COM, and Director of Product Management for Network Management at Valo Inc. Mr. Silverman is a patent agent registered with the U.S. Patent and Trademark Office, and a Senior Member of the IEEE.
