Chris McNeil

Chris McNeil has over 30 years of experience in the field of information technology. Chris is currently serving as the Director of Information Technology at Assiniboine Credit Union since February 2021. Before that, they worked as the Director of IT Infrastructure/IT Security at Reimer for almost 17 years, from August 2004 to February 2021. Prior to that, they held the position of Director of Information Technology at SGCI Communications from April 1998 to December 2001. Chris also served as the Network Manager at Mount Allison University from May 1993 to September 1996 and as a Network Engineer at the University of New Brunswick from August 1989 to May 1993. Throughout their career, they have demonstrated expertise in managing IT infrastructure, designing networks, and leading teams.

Chris McNeil earned a Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering with a focus on the Computer Option from the University of New Brunswick. It is unclear when this degree was obtained as the start and end years are not provided.

Later, Chris pursued a Master's degree in Technology Management from Memorial University of Newfoundland, graduating in 2018.

In addition to these degrees, Chris obtained certifications including the Certified Information Systems Security Professional (CISSP) from (ISC)² in June 2019 and the P.Eng certification from Engineers Geoscientists Manitoba in March 2005.
