Yechiel (Michael) Bamberger is an experienced professional with a diverse background in finance, emergency medical services, and camp administration. Since June 2015, Yechiel serves as the Chief Financial Officer at Assist Ambulance. In addition, Yechiel has been a paramedic with Hatzalah Volunteer Ambulance Corps. since May 2006 and has held various leadership roles at SHMA Camps, including infirmary director and aquatics director for the Boys division. Previous experience includes serving as comptroller at Premier Paratransit from April 2015 to January 2020 and principal of the junior high at Yeshiva Tiferes Elimelech from January 2012 to June 2015. Yechiel also held the position of aquatics director at Bei Kyta from June 2006 to May 2011 and worked as an EMT with Magen David Adom in Israel from November 2006 to May 2010, showcasing a commitment to both healthcare and educational leadership.

Assist Ambulance
Assist Ambulance provides Emergency and non-emergency, Advanced Life Support and Basic Life Support 24 hours a day 365 days a year. Our team of Paramedics and EMTs are comprised of career professionals who are trained in all aspects of emergency transports; including Critical Care transports and Specialty inter facility transports. At Assist we coordinate all aspects of transportation and care with the referring facility to ensure patient comfort and satisfaction. Assist takes great pride in becoming part of the communities we service. Our efforts begin with providing multi lingual staff to address the needs of the diverse ethnic communities of New York City. In addition, we also provide educational classes in Safety, Accident Prevention, and Emergency response programs.
