Samira Khajehi

Samira Khajehi has a diverse work experience spanning various industries and roles. Samira is currently the Head of Operations at AssistIQ. Prior to that, they served as an Advisory Board Member at McGill Innovation Fund. Samira also worked as the VP, Strategy and Chief of Staff, Innovation at SRTX (Sheertex). Additionally, Samira held the position of Senior Director, Business Operations and Enablement at Logibec, where they implemented strategic planning practices and managed a mandate with PwC for expansion into new markets. Earlier in their career, they worked at TELUS in different roles including Director of Business Transformation & Business Operations, Manager of Business Operations and Strategic Planning, and Strategy Manager. Samira also gained experience as a Business Graduate Summer Intern at Pfizer and Co-Founder at Ubicuo. Samira started their career as a Senior Operations Manager and Consultant at Ruffalo Noel Levitz and served as a Program Centre Manager and MOST Scholar. Lastly, they interned as a Political Economic Intern at the U.S. Department of State, where they conducted research and reported on various issues.

Samira Khajehi has a Master of Business Administration (M.B.A.) degree in Strategy & Finance from McGill University - Desautels Faculty of Management, which they obtained from 2015 to 2017. Prior to that, they completed an Honours B.Sc degree in Biology and Political Science from Western University, studying from 2006 to 2011. In addition, they hold certifications as a Certified Scrum Product Owner® (CSPO®) from the Scrum Alliance, obtained in June 2023, and has completed the AI Accountability Essential Training from LinkedIn in 2021.
