Irfan Alam serves as the Deputy Director of International Affairs at ASSOCHAM since February 2020, focusing on collaboration with government entities, the private sector, and international agencies to enhance policy frameworks for foreign investments and trade promotion. Previously, as the Member Secretary for the India China Economic and Cultural Council from July 2006 to January 2020, Irfan led operations and strategic initiatives to foster bilateral trade between India and China, including organizing B2B exhibitions and delegations. Irfan holds an MBA in International Business and a Bachelor of Science in Physics, both from Jamia Millia Islamia.
