Rui Paulus Cerdeira

Rui Paulus Cerdeira has a diverse work experience. In terms of academic associations, they have served as the Vice-President of the Department of Educational Action and Associativism at the University of Minho's Academic Association, as well as the President of the General Assembly and the Directorate of the Association of Geography and Planning Students at the same university. Rui has also held the role of the General Coordinator of Students at the University of Minho in the Arqus European University Alliance. Rui has been a member of the Pedagogical Council at the Institute of Social Sciences at the University of Minho since December 2020.

In addition to their academic involvement, Rui has worked as a factory worker at ZF Group, a restaurant attendant at Tasquinha Bracarense, and a public relations responsible at Pacha Ofir. Rui has also held commercial roles as a regional sales manager at Xtravel Pure Fun and a commercial manager at EDP Comercial.

Rui's work experience showcases their commitment to academia, leadership skills, and experience in various industries.

Rui Paulus Cerdeira began their education in 2019 at Universidade do Minho, where they pursued the "Curso de Preparação de Maiores de 23 Anos" until 2020. Following this, they continued their studies at the same university and is currently working towards a bachelor's degree in Geografia e Planeamento, which is expected to be completed in 2023. Rui plans to further their education by pursuing a master's degree in Desafios das Cidades from Universidade do Minho, starting in 2023 and completing in 2025.

In addition to their formal education, Rui has also obtained several certifications. In October 2022, they completed the MOOC: Transform AEC Projects with GIS and BIM from Esri. Earlier that year, in May, they finished the MOOC: Going Places with Spatial Analysis, also from Esri. Rui also completed the MOOC Esri: Cartography in March 2022. Prior to their university studies, Rui obtained basic proficiency in the German language through a course provided by IEFP in December 2019. Rui also achieved intermediate proficiency in the English language through an IEFP course in July 2019.
