Lauren Hookey

Lauren Hookey is an experienced maritime professional currently serving as a VTS Operator at Associated British Ports since March 2020. Prior to this role, Lauren worked as a 2nd Deck Officer at both Crystal Cruises and Celebrity Cruises, Inc., where responsibilities included navigation and safety operations. Additional experience includes a position as Port Operations Assistant at Brittany Ferries and various roles during training, including Deck Officer Cadet at Clyde Marine Training Ltd and Stewardess at Wightlink Isle of Wight Ferries LTD. Lauren holds a degree in Sustainable Maritime Operations from the University of Plymouth and a Higher National Diploma in Nautical Science from Warsash Maritime Academy, along with foundational education from the University of Southampton and HSDC Havant & South Downs.
