Samantha Nelson

Samantha Nelson is a Registered Nurse in the Emergency Department at Hennepin Healthcare since February 2024 and has been a Clinical Assistant at Associated Eye Care since August 2020, where responsibilities include assisting ophthalmologists, managing retina practices, and coordinating patient care. Previous experience includes serving as a Community Health Advisor with the Peace Corps from February 2018 to March 2020, leading health education initiatives and collaborating on public health projects in Madagascar. Additional roles include Product Management Assistant at TriLink BioTechnologies, an Intern for the Female Hygiene Program at Maji Safi Group, and various research and analysis positions at the University of Colorado Boulder. Samantha holds a Master's degree in Registered Nursing from the University of Minnesota School of Nursing and a Bachelor of Arts in Ecology and Evolutionary Biology and Environmental Studies from the University of Colorado Boulder.
