Heather Buss

Heather Buss has extensive experience in the hotel and resort industry. Heather started their career in 2000 as an Access Sales Manager at The Don CeSar Beach Resort. Heather then worked as a National Sales Manager at Safety Harbor Resort and Spa in 2003 and later at Loews Hotels from 2003 to 2005. From 2005 to 2006, Heather was a National Sales Manager at Pacific Palms Resort. Heather then joined Benchmark Resorts & Hotels as a Senior Sales Manager in 2006 before transitioning to Loews Hotels as a National Sales Manager and later Director of National Accounts. Heather further expanded their career as a Senior Sales Manager at Omni Hotels from 2011 to 2013. In 2013, they joined the Villas of Grand Cypress Resort, where they became an Associate Director of Sales and achieved numerous accolades and recognition. Heather then served as the Director of Global Sales at Salamander Hotels & Resorts from 2015 to 2018. Currently, they hold the position of Vice President of Sales at Associated Luxury Hotels International (ALHI), starting in November 2018. Throughout their career, Heather has consistently demonstrated their expertise in sales and management within the luxury hospitality industry.

Heather Buss received their Bachelor of Science degree in Communications from DePauw University, where they attended from 1995 to 1999. Additionally, they have obtained a certification as a Certified Hotel Sales Executive (CHSE) from HSMAI, although the specific month and year of achieving this certification are not known.
