Amanda Seitz

Amanda Seitz is a health care policy reporter for The Associated Press since June 2018, focusing on U.S. health care legislation, regulations, and politics. Previously, Seitz was a misinformation reporter, producing articles that addressed the impact of misinformation on elections, politics, and health care while holding tech platforms accountable. Prior experience includes serving as a digital reporter for WCPO-TV from October 2015 to June 2018 and as an investigative reporter for Cox Media Group Ohio from June 2013 to October 2015. Seitz began her journalism career as a local government reporter for the Wausau Daily Herald and has held various editorial roles, including intern positions at Enquirer Media and Cox Media Group. Seitz holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Journalism, Political Science, and English from Miami University, earned between 2008 and 2012.
