Gabriel Sandoval

Gabriel Sandoval is an experienced research reporter currently working at ProPublica since July 2022 and serving as adjunct faculty at the Craig Newmark Graduate School of Journalism at CUNY since August 2021. Sandoval previously reported for THE CITY NY from May 2019 to July 2022 and held positions as a researcher/reporter and intern at ProPublica and ChicoSol, respectively. Additional experience includes internships at WNYC Radio, Chico News & Review, and The Chronicle of Higher Education, as well as roles as staff writer and arts editor at The Orion and The Southwestern College Sun. Sandoval's education includes studies at the Craig Newmark Graduate School of Journalism at CUNY, California State University, Chico, and Southwestern Community College District.
