Helena Alves is a seasoned videojournalist currently employed by the Associated Press since February 2014. Prior to this role, Alves gained valuable experience as a freelancer, covering significant social unrest in Brazil during mid-2013, and worked as a stringer for BR Press, focusing on cultural events in 2012.
