Jessica Bruce is currently the SVP of HR and Corporate Communications at The Associated Press. Jessica has over 20 years of experience in human resources, benefits, and publishing.

Jessica started their career in 1995 as the Director of Benefits for HarperCollins Publishers. In 1997, they took on a broader role as the Director of Benefits for News America Publishing, News Corporation's group of publishing companies that included HarperCollins, the New York Post, The Weekly Standard, and TV Guide. Jessica successfully coordinated the due diligence process for the sale of multiple publishing divisions and renegotiated all insurance contracts post-sale. Jessica also created an employee communications program, managed a $50 million benefits budget, rolled out a full-replacement managed care product, and conducted employee training (including time management). Jessica reported to the Senior Vice President of Human Resources and managed staff in multiple remote locations.

In their current role as SVP of HR and Corporate Communications at The Associated Press, Jessica is a senior leader on the HR team and is responsible for implementing significant changes to the benefits plan design and developing a new management structure for HR within the publishing group. Jessica has managed through two CEO transitions with minimal staff disruption.
