Gamal Niang

Gamal Niang is an influential figure in Senegalese media and technology with extensive experience in logistics coordination and media management. Currently serving as Coordinateur Logistique at Association Aurore since July 2013, Niang has also been a freelance Chargé de mission TIC, Community Manager, and Media Manager with RMDDH-Afrique/Europe since February 2009. As a pioneer of online journalism in Senegal, responsible for bringing Sud Quotidien online, Niang aims to establish an international media association to enhance the use of ICT for development and support a robust African press. Niang's career includes significant roles such as creating the first African online network SEPNET, founding MEDIAF, and consulting for various international organizations. Educational background includes studies in law and communication, leading to a role as a consultant in communications.
