Mayank Bhatia

Mayank Bhatia has a diverse work experience that spans various roles, industries, and organizations. Mayank started their career as an undergraduate researcher at IBM-Illinois Discovery Accelerator Institute in January 2023. In February 2023, they transitioned to the role of project manager at WaggleNet. Prior to these positions, Mayank served as the president of SIGQuantum at ACM, Association for Computing Machinery, starting in August 2022. Mayank also gained experience as a machine learning and data science intern at Chalk Digital from May 2023 to August 2023. Mayank's work experience includes being an apply AI participant at AI4ALL from August 2022 to December 2022, and an undergraduate researcher at Illinois Geometry Lab from January 2022 to December 2022. Additionally, they worked as an investment consulting intern at U First Capital in August 2022 and as a quantum computing course instructor at qBraid in July 2021 to August 2021. Mayank's early research experience includes being a nanotechnology research assistant at the Bezryadin Condensed Matter Group at the University of Illinois Urbana-Champaign from March 2021 to June 2021.

Mayank Bhatia completed their high school education at William Fremd High School from 2016 to 2020. Currently, they are pursuing a Bachelor of Science degree in Computer Engineering at the University of Illinois Urbana-Champaign, which they are expected to complete in 2024.
