Namit Luthra

Namit Luthra is a Bachelor of Science student in Neuroscience at the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill, with extensive experience in healthcare and leadership roles. Currently shadowing gastroenterologist Dr. Sarah McGill and surgical oncologist Dr. Philip Spanheimer at UNC Health, Namit also shadows Dr. Chitra Saravasaran at Cornerstone Pediatric Therapy. As an Undergraduate Research Assistant, Namit contributes to breast cancer research under Dr. Sam Wolff and has held the position of Vice President for the Association for India's Development, focusing on providing essential supplies to underrepresented areas in India. Past leadership roles include directing summer camp operations with HSNC Board and serving as Drive Team and Scouting Lead for InspireNC, promoting STEAM education. Additionally, Namit has gained valuable insights into the medical field through internships and shadowing experiences, including working with Khara Orthodontics and Urban Ministries of Wake County.
