Rachel Byczkowski has over 15 years of work experience in various roles. Rachel is currently the Director of Communications for the First Canadian Chapter at AIIM International since August 2019. Prior to that, they worked at the Canada Deposit Insurance Corporation (CDIC) | Société d'assurance-dépôts du Canada (SADC) where they held the positions of Information Management Specialist and Information Specialist from 2007 until present. Rachel also has experience as an Assistant Manager at Cotton Ginny from 2005 to 2007 and as a Student Resource at the Department of Justice Canada from 2004 to 2005.

Rachel Byczkowski, CIP, CCP has a diverse education history. Rachel completed a Bachelor's degree in Social Sciences with a focus on Criminology and Psychology at the University of Ottawa from 2002 to 2005. Rachel then pursued further education at the Algonquin College of Applied Arts and Technology from 2007 to 2008, where they majored in Records Management and Archives.

In addition to their formal education, Rachel has obtained multiple certifications to enhance their professional skills. Rachel achieved the Certified Information Professional (CIP) designation from AIIM International in June 2019. Rachel also holds various certifications in change management, including being a Prosci Certified Change Practitioner obtained in April 2022. Rachel has further expanded their expertise through certifications such as Change Leadership and Change Management Foundations from LinkedIn, as well as various courses related to information management and SharePoint from AIIM International and LinkedIn.

Rachel's extensive education and certifications demonstrate their commitment to ongoing learning and professional development in various fields, including records management, archives, criminology, psychology, change management, and information management.
