Leah Ewing Ross has extensive experience in higher education and research, currently serving as Associate Deputy Director and Senior Director for Research and Initiatives at the Association for Institutional Research since October 2011. Prior to this role, Leah operated as a self-employed freelance writer, editor, and consultant since August 2009 and held various consulting positions, including at MGT of America from September 2007 to August 2009. Leah's career includes a significant tenure at Tallahassee Community College as Assistant to the Vice President for Student Affairs and as Managing Editor for the Journal of College Student Development. Additional roles span from Director of the National Academy at NASPA to Assistant Director of Admissions at Agnes Scott College. Leah holds a Bachelor's Degree in English from Mount Holyoke College, a Master's Degree in Higher Education Administration from Florida State University, and a Ph.D. in Educational Leadership and Policy Studies from Iowa State University.
