Steven Miller serves as Chief Financial Officer and is responsible for the company's overall finance function and activities including corporate finance; treasury management; contract management; financial strategy and planning; mergers and acquisitions; tax; audit; investor relations; investment strategy and portfolio; and operations. He provides strategic financial input and leadership on key decisions affecting the association.
Prior to joining ASCD, Miller served as a CFO and a senior financial executive in several for-profit enterprises internationally. With 20 years of high-level financial experience across multiple industries, Miller brings extensive proficiency in strategic planning, organizational transformation, financial management, forecasting, budgeting, mergers and acquisitions, capital markets, portfolio management, investment analysis and risk management.
He holds an MBA from Harvard Business School and a bachelor's degree in Economics from the University of Virginia. Miller is a CFA Charterholder.
