Marcy Paterik currently serves as the Communications Team Chairperson at the Association for Women in Architecture + Design since September 2023, while also working as a Business Development Manager at Blu Dot since June 2019, where responsibilities include managing new market development managers and growing contract sales in the Southern California territory. Previously, Marcy held the position of Sales Representative at Bernhardt Design from January 2015 to June 2019, and served as the Architect + Design Representative for Southern California at 3form from 2013 to 2015. Additional experience includes participation on the Executive Committee for Haunt 2013 and 2014 at IIDA Northern California and serving as the Showroom Manager at Knoll from 2010 to 2013. Marcy Paterik completed education at New Mexico State University and The Art Institute of California-Los Angeles.

Association for Women in Architecture + Design
The Association for Women in Architecture + Design (AWA+D) is a non-profit organization based in Los Angeles, California that is dedicated to advancing and supporting the positions of women in the architecture and design fields. As a Professional Society it provides support to working professionals through educational programming, networking and mentoring. An AWA Foundation raises funds for scholarships for women pursuing degrees in the design fields. AWA+D membership reflects the diversity of the design profession. The organization welcomes those interested in all areas of design, including but not limited to: architects, landscape architects, urban planners, engineers, interior designers, graphic designers, environmental consultants and designers, artists, students, and others interested in supporting the goals of the Association.
