Amber McDonald

Amber McDonald currently serves as Assistant General Counsel at the Association of American Railroads, a position held since April 2023. Prior to this role, Amber accumulated extensive experience in complex commercial litigation and compliance matters as Senior Counsel at Baker & Miller PLLC from August 2008 to March 2023. Earlier career highlights include serving as a Litigation Associate at Skadden, Arps, Slate, Meagher & Flom LLP and as a Law Clerk at the United States Court of Federal Claims. Educational qualifications include a Juris Doctor from the Maurice A. Deane School of Law at Hofstra University, a Certificate in Privacy Law and Cybersecurity from USC Gould School of Law, and a Bachelor of Arts in Political Science and English Literature from the University of Wisconsin-Madison.
