Government Relations and Public Policy

The Government Relations and Public Policy team at the Association of American Universities (AAU) advocates for the interests of its 71 research universities by engaging with policymakers, shaping federal policies related to higher education and research, and fostering strategic partnerships to support the institutions’ goals in education, research, and innovation. They work to influence legislation and regulations to benefit member universities and advance the collective mission of transforming lives through academic excellence.
