Chris Armistead has extensive experience in legal services, currently serving as Assistant Director and Head of Legal Services at the Association of British Insurers since September 2014. Prior roles at the same organization include Manager, Legal Services, Senior Legal Adviser, and Legal Affairs Adviser. Chris began a legal career as a Solicitor and Trainee Solicitor at BLM from September 2011 to August 2014, with a brief secondment back to the Association of British Insurers in 2012-2013. Earlier experience includes working as a Paralegal at Berrymans Lace Mawer from May 2009 to July 2011. Chris holds a Legal Practice Course degree from BPP Law School and a Bachelor of Laws (LLB) from The University of Manchester. Education also includes attendance at Cardinal Newman College Preston and All Hallows Catholic High.
