Dr. Dale E. Beatty

Dr. Dale E. Beatty, DNP, RN, NEA-BC, Caritas Coach®, FAONL, FAAN has a diverse and extensive work experience spanning several prestigious healthcare organizations. In 1994, Dr. Beatty began working as the Director of Critical Care, Emergency, and Trauma Services at Northwestern Memorial Hospital. In 2001, Dr. Beatty took on the role of Vice President of Patient Care/Chief Nursing Officer at SSM Health Care - St. Francis Hospital and Health Center. Dr. Dale E. then became the Executive Vice President of Hospital Operations/Chief Nursing Officer at Northwest Community Hospital in 2005. In 2013, Dr. Beatty served as the Vice President and Chief Nursing Officer at Sharp HealthCare. From 2014 to 2017, they held two roles simultaneously: Adjunct Instructor in the College of Nursing at the University of Illinois at Chicago and Chief Nursing Officer at the University of Illinois Hospital and Health Sciences System. In 2016, Dr. Beatty also served as a Board Member and Chair of the Quality Committee at JourneyCare. In 2017, they were appointed as Stanford Health Care's Chief Nursing Officer and Vice President for Patient Care Services, a position they held until 2021. Additionally, Dr. Beatty joined the Board of Directors at Sumit International Holding in 2017. In 2022, they became the President of the Association of California Nurse Leaders (ACNL). Dr. Beatty is also a Fellow of the American Academy of Nursing, a distinction they achieved in 2023.

Dr. Dale E. Beatty, DNP, RN, NEA-BC, Caritas Coach®, FAONL, FAAN, obtained a Doctor of Nursing Practice degree in Executive Nursing Leadership from the University of Illinois Chicago. Dr. Dale E. also holds a Master of Science degree with distinction in Nursing Administration from DePaul University and a Bachelor of Science degree in Nursing from Ohio Wesleyan University. Additionally, Dr. Beatty is a Certified Caritas Coach from the Watson Caring Science Institute and a Nurse Executive Advanced - Board Certified from the American Nurses Association. Dr. Dale E. is also a registered nurse with certifications from the Illinois Department of Financial and Professional Regulation and the California Board of Registered Nursing.
