Dorothy Johnson

Dorothy Johnson is an experienced legislative advocate with a robust background in public policy and government relations. Currently serving as a Legislative Advocate for the Association of California School Administrators since November 2021, Dorothy represents California's educational leaders on critical issues related to governance, employee relations, and infrastructure policy. Previous roles include serving as a Community-Based Organization Liaison for VOTE SAFE California, Policy Advisor to the Director for California Complete Count Census 2020, and Legislative Representative for both the California State Association of Counties and the California Special Districts Association. With educational qualifications including a B.A. in Political Science and Sociology from the University of California, Davis, Dorothy has a comprehensive understanding of legislative processes and advocacy strategies across various sectors.
